Approach
“The only thing wrong with you is that you think something there is something wrong with you. Instead of looking for what was wrong, I started to look for what was right in me”
- Marie-Louise von Franz
Typically today, psychotherapy in the Western world has lost its connection to soul and has become primarily about rapidly getting people back to work (cost-effectively), functioning socially in an egocentric society (rewards-based), and recovering from addiction/escapism and "mental health issues".
Soulcentric psychotherapy, on the other hand, focuses on discovering meaningful gifts and purpose in order for the individual to serve the broader scope of life in their own unique ways. Clients will learn about the foundations of their inner landscape, the skills to self-heal, and to rediscover the enormous hidden wholeness that awaits the curious and brave.
Utilizing nature, dreams, the physical body, imagination, creativity, poetry, metaphor, archetypes; my approach is both gentle and fierce, encouraging, curious, and strives towards helping you achieve greater depths of experience and aliveness.
You will likely feel more, struggle with past patterns and ways of being, and come awake to wild new possibilities that you never could have imagined that have been beckoning to you all along. You will re-learn how to pay attention, stay in the present moment, get curious about what is happening in your life and the life synchronicities happening all around you, and feel empowered to take hopeful action.
Using depth psychology, soulcentric dreamwork, ecospychology, Somatic Experiencing, and the Wild Mind Map of the Psyche, to name a few tools, we will discover and uncover your particular gifts for this world—your deeper purpose. This type of inner work will lead to a richer more meaningful, soulcentric way of living the precious life you have, this is not a dress rehearsal.
This world desperately needs you.
